Yes, Aria did know, and had mocked him for them, soundly enough to cool things between them for a few days before physical attraction and the need to be close to somebody had brought them back together again. There was something else as well; a grudging respect for his principles, even if she didn't adhere to them herself. It wasn't that she thought they were stupid, it was just that she so often found herself in a position where they did more harm than good.

Her free hand came to cup his jaw as she kissed him again, a kiss that on the surface spoke of desire and need, hiding beneath it things that Aria herself didn't wholly understand. Her teeth caught his lip as her hand stroked him, faster, harder, and then she broke the embrace to lean and murmur in his ear. "And are you sure I can't change your mind?"

Respect for his ideals didn't mean she wouldn't try to corrupt them at every possible turn. She liked him too much to let things lie.
