After several days of hard work the suite was almost liveable, especially after Aria had dragged up a selection of furniture from several of the recreation rooms - she was sure nobody would miss it. Her bed was just a pile of cushions on the floor and the walls still smelled of smoke and ash but she liked it that way; it gave the place an edge, reminded her not to get too comfortable in their new-found luxury.

The only thing left to do was to finish decorating it, which is why Kara went to seek her out she found her elbow deep in one of the closets on the second floor, a pile of lamps and other accessories slowly growing on the floor just outside. Aria looked almost embarrassed for a moment to have been caught doing something as mundane as rooting around in a closet, but she soon composed herself and gave Kara a friendly enough nod. "Thrace. Don't tell me you're looking to redecorate too."

Aria took a step back and looked around her - things were coming along nicely. Given that there didn't seem to be any movement towards either taking the station or departing on the shuttles she figured she might as well set herself up in the best room they had, which is why the past few days had involved gutting and emptying the burnt and abandoned suite on the fifth floor. It was hard going with her powers limited as they were, and she was taking a break to rehydrate and assess her progress when she heard a noise behind her. Months of living in the dangerous climes of the upper parts of the station had conditioned her to caution and she whirled, her biotics flaring briefly until she took in who it was.

"Ah, Boyd," she said, dropping her hands back to her sides and nodding briefly at him. "What a nice surprise."

The room had probably been a supply closet at some point; certainly its size and shape seemed to suggest that, as did the heavy shelves that had been bolted to the walls, though they were devoid of anything by the time they had discovered it not far from the living quarters and the barricade they had set up against roving monsters. It added a little thrill to the proceedings to know they were beyond the 'safe zone' and more than once had necessitated a quick retreat when the halls were too full of foes.

Aria slipped into the room to find Jackson already there, just as she had known he would be. She allowed another sly smile as she spotted him, though she turned her attention towards using her biotics to shove the remaining shelf up against the door before greeting him properly. Only once the heavy shelving was firmly in place did she turn, sauntering towards where he waited. "Well now, where were we? Planning an invasion, I believe..."
