Aria/Jackson rendezvous

The room had probably been a supply closet at some point; certainly its size and shape seemed to suggest that, as did the heavy shelves that had been bolted to the walls, though they were devoid of anything by the time they had discovered it not far from the living quarters and the barricade they had set up against roving monsters. It added a little thrill to the proceedings to know they were beyond the 'safe zone' and more than once had necessitated a quick retreat when the halls were too full of foes.
Aria slipped into the room to find Jackson already there, just as she had known he would be. She allowed another sly smile as she spotted him, though she turned her attention towards using her biotics to shove the remaining shelf up against the door before greeting him properly. Only once the heavy shelving was firmly in place did she turn, sauntering towards where he waited. "Well now, where were we? Planning an invasion, I believe..."

Pep talk, sure, if she wanted to call it that. Honestly, as long as she kept talking, he didn't care. Not that he would stop if she forewent words in favor of groans and sighs, either. There were few things on this earth (or the station) that he liked doing more than this, right here, and he was very dedicated to his art, pulling one of his hands back from her hip to complement the work of his mouth, a brief hum encouraging her to keep talking.

We - mm - we need to act or we'll stagnate and rot here. Anyone who's content with the way things are is a fool, and anyone who's too afraid to do what needs to be done about it is a coward."

On the contrary, it was one more reason to admire her, and the more she talked, the more he brought it on, picking up the pace just as mercilessly as she was judging the lot of them. Whether he agreed with her or not mattered very little; the strength of her character and the sharpness of her mind existed regardless of his own opinions on any given subject. Only through that respect could they ever be together this way, and it was no concession, but simple fact.

He did not let up until the familiar blue flashed over her skin, and only then slowed his pace, gradually, to a halt, pressing a kiss to her inner thigh and staying there, watching her as she came to.
Whatever she saw in him that made him fit to share this old mattress with her, he was glad of it.
